Others are about building the people who close them.
Our Spark Homes acquisitions team is growing! The guys met for breakfast to celebrate some big wins, share accountability, and build on the current momentum.
The goal stays simple: 100 home acquisitions in 2025.
We’re refining how we source and structure off-market deals.
We’re doubling down on what makes Spark different: speed, clarity, and culture that actually feels like a team.
And we’re building fast, thinking long-term, and always leaving room at the table for people who want to grow with us.

At Spark, leadership isn’t about titles — it’s about touch points.
Sam’s been on-site throughout this remodel, studying the design and making sure the space fits the needs of the team that’ll use it daily. That’s what “hands-on” looks like.
Here he is walking through what will soon be the new office for one of our off site full-time teams. Angela who is the general manager is right there with him — talking through layout ideas, where certain work areas will go, and how to make the space flow the way the team actually works.
It’s that kind of hands-on approach that makes the difference between a building that just looks good and one that works for the people inside it.

This month had a good mix of work and life wins.
Brittney and I spent my birthday weekend in Kansas City — caught a Chiefs game and got some family time in. A great reminder that slowing down for a couple of days usually helps you speed up after.
And speaking of going the extra mile — Madison from our industrial team did exactly that. During one of our office birthday parties (the petting-zoo edition), we learned he’s as good with animals as he is with properties.
He’s the same guy who once weed-eated a full acre when a vendor backed out last minute. That’s just who he is — steady, resourceful, and always the first to step up.

The Spark Home Drive.
These guys are on fire! The acquisitions guys are truly surpassing previous limits, finding new opportunity every day. Meanwhile, the GC team are keeping all the wheels spinning turning those acquisitions into a really nice and affordable product that we are proud to bring to market.
This is a look at the current intensity right now: 12 listed, 20 in renovation, and 9 closing in November.
Every number reflects the collective effort of a group of guys who are passionate about scaling up and hitting that 100-home acquisition goal for 2025.
